Friday Favorites and then some....

Hi everyone!  I trust you are having a wonderful Friday.  The kids are out of school, I am being a domestic goddess (code for yoga pants, hat, and no make-up), and I am enjoying this first day of Spring and first day of being 40 years old!  You know, 40 is the new 20.  No.  Really.

In case you don't follow me on Facebook or Caring Bridge, I received the best news ever yesterday.  My cancer is 80-90% GONE!  They can only see a few spots on my liver now.  God has worked a miracle in and through me.  I am so grateful and truthfully cannot put into words how happy I am.

I am going to start blogging more frequently, because it truly brings me joy.  So why not start today?

I painted a few of these for friends.  I know I'm not an artist by ANY means, but it was fun.

I obviously didn't edit this picture because I'm too lazy today, but I LOVE this face wash!  I've been trying to use natural or organic beauty products, because I believe anything that takes a load off my liver has to be helpful.  This was pinned by my friend, Tracy Ogden, so I had to try it.  I ordered it off Amazon and it arrived in 2 days (Amazon Prime is the best invention).  It is an organic face wash that has just the right amount of bubbles and doesn't dry out my skin.  I highly recommend it.

My man child caught this fish last weekend on the White River.  He out-fished all the men!  It even made the local newspaper.  I love that smile.  True joy!

We are going to Florida for Spring Break, and when I saw this on Pinterest it made me laugh.  I tend to sleep a lot on road trips, and this is seriously how I look when I wake up!  A HOT MESS!  Anyone else have this happen?

Yesterday was my 40th birthday, and Gabe had me open this coffee mug.  Huh?  Then I read the card, and it said my gift was a trip to Paris!!!  It has been a dream of mine to visit, and I couldn't be more excited.  Have any of you been?  Besides the tourist spots, do you have any recos of places to visit?

One of my sweet friends, Wendy Wiggins, had our friend, Candace Lindsey, paint this for me for my birthday.  It is going to look perfect in my kitchen.  Doesn't she look real?  I'm going to name her, but I can't decide on a name yet.  Stay tuned. :-)

I hope y'all have a great weekend!!!  Happy Spring!!!!!
xo...Robin
